Villa Semiramis was built in Art Nouveau style in 1909 by the Turin-born architect Anselmo Secondo and is situated adjacent to the green tea plantation.
It is said that local residents from Ascona used to buy tickets to go up the roof of Villa Semiramis to spy on the vegetarian colony in the park of Monte Verità , where activities occasionally took place in the nude.
Almost every room in the Villa has unparalleled lake view, taking in the Brissago Islands and nearby Italy; each room has its own bathroom with bath tub or shower, telephone and free Wi-Fi connection.
