"Congressi Stefano Franscini" (CSF) is the meeting platform of the ETH Zurich. It has been located at Monte Verità, which is also the venue of the CSF subsidized conferences, since 1989. The CSF supports between 20 and 25 international conferences each year, on any theme or discipline which is the subject of scientific research. Since 2010, it offers the ETH Winter Schools@Monte Verità, which are academic seminars for PhD students, at the same venue.
This venue is much loved by the international scientific community, thanks to its beautiful setting, the size of the campus, the professional and likewise friendly service and the high-quality cuisine served at the Monte Verità restaurant.
The CSF is open to the public through various educational events held as part of its own conferences and embedded in the Monte Verità cultural program.
Subsidies
CSF conferences benefit from financial support on a case by case basis (deadline for applications: 15th January of each year for conferences to be held the subsequent year).
